One of my favorite times of the year is upon us: fair season! My family and I love to head out to the county fair every year, and even though I’m running for State Representative, this year is no different. In fact it is even more enjoyable to me, because I have the opportunity to visit the 4 different fairs in House District 63.

I want to send a “Thank-You” out to everyone who helped the Messmer campaign during the 4th of July activities. With all of the parades and festivals around the district, it is often difficult for me to be everywhere at once.

Hello Everyone :-) I'm often asked why I think Mark will be a great State Representative for us! I honestly wasn't quite sure how to answer this question when we began this journey over a year ago, but it didn't take me long to know how I wanted to share my answer!

I am pleased to announce that I have recently received the endorsement of Indiana Right to Life in my run for State Representative of House District 63. As a member of Dubois County Right to Life for over 16 years, it is my honor to receive this endorsement. Pro-life issues have been dear to me for many years. I have written numerous letters to our Congressional leaders, helped with many Right to Life fundraisers, and have taken my children to the annual Right to Life March in Washington, DC.

We had a blast last weekend in Winslow at the Parade of Lights. My family and friends handed out glow sticks and I played a patriotic service medley. Apparently the firefighters liked the music, because they awarded us 3rd place for best parade entry! Check out the picture of the trophy on the attachment, it is really cool.
