After a busy Easter Week and a week in Florida on spring break with the family, we hit the ground running this week.

Even though we were in Florida last week, we were still able to run into people from southern Indiana. While we were in Old Towne in Kissimmee on Wednesday, Kim & I met a really neat couple from Washington, IN (Shane & Cindy Hicks)while we were waiting for our video from the Sky-Coaster. They gave us a great tip on a beach area and dolphin watching boat trip that we went to on Friday.

Monday was back to work. We had a fun day working on some video to use later on in the campaign with YouTube on our website. For those of you who subscribe to email updates, we'll notify you when any are finished. Otherwise, check back when you can to watch them.

Since it actually quit raining Wednesday, I got out after work and knocked on doors for a while. I'm amazed at all the great people I have met going door-to-door!

Thursday I had the pleasure of meeting John Hostettler, previously the Congressman from the 8th district. We were both at the retirement ceremony of Louis Kavanaugh at Crane on Thursday. We talked about the new book John is writing and my campaign for a while. It was an impressive turnout for 'Old Lou' and most were from District 63. Thank you Lou for the invitation.

The weekend will be very busy. I'll report back next week with anything exciting.
