Messmer signs the Dubois County Right to Life Creed at annual banquet, his opponent refuses!

The 2008 Dubois County Right-to-Life banquet was held Sunday 10-19-08 at the Huntingburg Events Center.  There was a great turnout with about 300 people in attendence.  As part of the program, all the attendees were given a Right to Life Creed to sign that they would pledge to support Right to Life principles.  I have attached my signed copy of the pledge.  My opponent would not sign the pledge!

The featured family receiving the Life Time Award was the Ippoliti family from St. Meinrad. They had adopted a Korean baby that was from a failed abortion over 20 years ago. Their story was very touching. The adopted daughter, now in her 20's came up and asked for my autograph after the dinner. My first autograph request!
