This week was highlighted by making 825 voter ID calls, some great grassroots work in Martin and a fun day of campaigning in Cuzco on Sunday!
The funnest part of the week was our door-to-door work in Cuzco. At one of the houses, the husband said I was the first politician that he didn't kick off his porch! He said that was a compliment. I had a couple of people ask me what it meant to me to be a Right-to-Life supporter. We had great discussions and they liked my answers.

Grass Roots Work Continues
Saturday Feb 9th was a great day of events in Montgomery and Hudsonville. I was able to meet with about 50 customers each at the Stop N’ See during breakfast and Glenna’s during lunch to talk about issues. The response once again was very positive. My plan is to continue to meet as many people over the next 10 months as possible and spread my message of positive leadership verses partisan politics for the district and state. If you have a group I can visit, please let me know where and when they meet and I will do my best to get there.
Notes from the campaign trail 1-31-08
I thought I would share a funny story that came up on one of my door-to-door visits in Pike County. I was in the area of Yellow Rose Horse Park where my daughter was competing in some barrel racing. In between her races I was driving around the area and stopped at a house not too far away.
