Right to Life Endorses Messmer!!

I am pleased to announce that I have recently received the endorsement of Indiana Right to Life in my run for State Representative of House District 63. As a member of Dubois County Right to Life for over 16 years, it is my honor to receive this endorsement. Pro-life issues have been dear to me for many years. I have written numerous letters to our Congressional leaders, helped with many Right to Life fundraisers, and have taken my children to the annual Right to Life March in Washington, DC.

At my press conference last week I said, “When I started my campaign last year, I made a commitment to bring the values we share in our community to the Statehouse. No other value is as fundamental as respect for life. As your next state representative, I will be committed to the policies that protect our most vulnerable citizens and always defend innocent life.”

In announcing his group’s endorsement of my candidacy, Indiana Right to Life Executive Director Mike Fichter said, “A vote for Messmer is a vote for new leadership and for the passage of pro-life legislation.”

It is important for everyone to understand that the House Democrat leadership refuses to let any pro-life legislation come up for a vote. As you next State Representative, I will support leaders who believe in the sanctity of life and I will vigilantly defend pro-life issues.

With this being a crucial election for the future of Indiana, I would like to note that I am the only candidate in this race who is endorsed by Indiana Right to Life.

I would like to thank Mike Fichter, Indiana Right to Life, local Right to Life leaders and all supporters of my campaign. We would not be able to run such a positive and spirited campaign if it were not for your hard work!
