Now is the time to defend our Constitution. The founding principles of fighting for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as spelled out in our Declaration of Independence and the individual rights of each citizen as spelled out in our Constitution are under attack like never before.

On July 4th I was honored to be the speaker at the Tea Party in Jasper. The focus of my presentation was the importance of fighting for our freedom and liberty at all times. I quoted a speech from Ronald Reagan in which he made the point that our freedom and liberty are only one generation away from being destroyed at all times, and how true that is when we see what is happening on the national level right now. I also quoted Colonel Jack Jacobs from a new book he has written called "If not you who, if not now when". We are facing the greatest challenge to maintaining control of our lives right now with the national health care policy being considered in congress and that question of who will step forward could never be more appropriate. If not you, who? If not now, when? Will we all wake up one day and wonder what happened to our country?
