Volunteering for Community Service

The St John Bosco Youth Ministry Group in Jasper had another successful year with their 6th annual Fish Fry on Friday, April 4th. We served more than a thousand meals to community members, which as a new record for out group. We thank the Schnitzelbank for, once again, donating the use of its catering trailer and for all the help from several of their employees who generously donated their time. It is moments like these that I am glad I can take time away from my campaign schedule to continue my community service, something that I have always had a passion for.

On Saturday, April 5th, I also volunteered to help the Martin County Right-to-Life group at the Martin Co. recycling center unload cars and sort recylables. With the weather being nice, it was a very busy place. Thanks to Marvin, Jerry, Van, Mike and the Martin Co. Recycling employees for letting me help out.
